Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Moazn application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Moazn is a mobile application that provides Islamic prayer times, notifications, and widgets. The App calculates prayer times based on your location using established Islamic calculation methods. The service is provided free of charge.

Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the App in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App
  • Use the App for any commercial purpose without our consent

Prayer Times Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate prayer times, the calculations are based on mathematical formulas and your device's location accuracy. We recommend verifying prayer times with your local mosque or Islamic authority, especially for critical prayers like Fajr. The App should be used as a helpful tool, not as the sole source for prayer times.

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CoreCave and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including the AlAdhan API for prayer time calculations and Firebase for notifications. These services have their own terms and privacy policies that you should review. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF THE PRAYER TIMES PROVIDED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CORECAVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR MISSED PRAYERS DUE TO INACCURATE TIMES OR NOTIFICATION FAILURES.

Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may also terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CoreCave operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
